Over the course of representing insurers, employers, and individuals since 1992, Thad has developed the following defining traits: integrity, attention to detail, personal relationships and giving maximum effort to achieve his clients’ goals.
No client can be guaranteed a win in the uncertain world of litigation, but you can be assured that he will give personal attention to each assigned file, that steady progress will be efficiently and promptly made toward the favorable resolution of the claim, and that you will always be kept informed of the status of a matter.
Without exception, Thad handles all aspects of his clients’ files, including written discovery, depositions, reporting, court attendance and trial. There is no young attorney learning the ropes on your files; instead, your work will only be in the hands of an experienced, successful litigator.
Clients benefit from over 25 years of experience of the overlapping nature of automobile, premises liability and workers’ compensation litigation. While liability in a tort setting and compensability in workers’ compensation matter have their unique characteristics, similar issues of credibility, pre-existing conditions, causation and the nature and extent of the claimed injury need to be identified, analyzed, and developed in both types of cases.
His experience is not just in the role of representing the insurer; indeed, he has successfully handled many claims for persons injured in car accidents in the New Orleans metropolitan area, the Northshore, Hammond and all of Tangipahoa. Typically, these clients already know Thad or have an indirect relationship with him.
He also represents some disadvantaged individuals and families on a no-fee, pro bono basis. These clients may require legal representation in matters such as disputes with landlords, Social Security or even estate matters, but often they just need someone to listen and to help them discern a resolution on their own.
